Cider has turned out really well, it's been bottled and we're looking forward to sampling in a month or so.

If it's way too hot, it can die. How do you know there's no fermentation? Bubbles in the airlock are a sign, but you can have fermentation without visible bubbles. Do you have a hydrometer? Take a gravity reading once a day to see if the amount of sugar in the cider changes. Fermentation is done after a few days without change.
