I am a software developer living in Boston. When I'm not on the computer, I may be brewing beer.

What do you do with the vodka from your ferm locks? Indeed, if it doesn't smell/taste good to you, then why on earth would you want to consume it? |

Boza beverage recipes and experiences? @Jeff yes, or off-topic... recipe exchanges are off-topic, but discussing a style is not... this falls in the gray area. I won't vote to close, since we don't have a problem with too many recipe requests, but I just wanted to note this. |

Help! My homebrew keg froze, I brought it in, and now the beer is all foam. It tasted...flat. I don't mean in a no-carbonation sense, but in a flavor-complexity sense. It just wasn't right; I'm not really sure how to describe it. |

Can I use my Country Living Grain Mill for homebrewing? I would suggest trying it with a small amount of grain, and then inspecting what comes out. If it looks like the kernels are being cracked into two or three pieces, then you should be all set. |

High-gravity beer stored too cold to carbonate during bottle conditioning. How can I carbonate this beer? Hi @Bill, welcome to the site! |

Help! My homebrew keg froze, I brought it in, and now the beer is all foam. Freezing tends to ruin beer, and I don't know of any way to recover from it. I know that I have ruined many bottles of beer by putting them in the freezer because I was too impatient to wait for them to chill in the fridge, and then I forgot about them.... :-/ |
