How do you label your bottles? It would probably have been better phrased as "What's the best way to label bottles." That said, it's almost 2 years old- complaining that it's an invalid question at this point might not be terribly useful. |

Cardboard alternatives to bottle cases for storage That's pretty awesome. A bit expensive, but probably a good investment if you can reuse them for years to come. |

Using StarSan in Airlock Heh, yeah- I usually use whatever's cheap an on hand. Even that is usually only when I forget to save a bit of the diluted sanitizer from earlier in the brewday. |

Using StarSan in Airlock In addition to answers below, vodka works fine too. |

How to Properly Oxygenate Wort For completeness, Palmer says that ideal oxygenation is 8-16ppm (How To Brew, 2006, page 70). |

Cardboard alternatives to bottle cases for storage @PJ: I'm less concerned with the storing conditions (heat/light/location) as I am with specific physical packaging solutions- reusing cardboard boxes, wine-style wall racks, custom wooden cases, etc. |

What causes beer to induce flatulence when consumed? I would have thought that stomach acid would kill any yeast pretty quickly. |

What is the best beer to make for a spouse who prefers sauvignon blanc? I think this might be a little off-topic for a brewing site- not entirely sure though. Meta discussion here. |

How do I make a Yeast Starter? I'd never seen those before, but googling around, it looks pretty cool. Suppose it makes sense- yeast can live without oxygen, but it needs it to reproduce (which is the point of a starter). Spinning a magnet inside to keep the starter aerated would work great for that. I wonder if any other automated aeration methods (eg, a fishtank bubbler) would do the trick... |

How do you cool wort? Regarding the ice method, couldn't you just boil some water, then freeze it in sanitized tupperware? |

How would you ship your brew? But of course. :P If, hypothetically, you were going to break the law, it's good practice to know those laws specifically. :) |

Is it OK to starting fermentation while wort is still warm? Palmer recommends against aerating the wort when it's hot (see answer)- haven't had a chance to check other sources yet, but he generally knows his stuff. |

How do you tell if your fermentation is stuck? This isn't a specific instance- just wondering what rules of thumb apply and what factors might contribute to determining when to start trying to fix it. |

Book for beginners I read this online for my first brew, then bought it outright. I'm a cheap college student, but this was completely worth it. |
