Beer is my day-long obsession, joy and torment. Although I quite like going for walks with my kids, swimming, cycling, running, high power rocketry, photography, chocolate and coding....

Where can I find some Nelson Sauvin hops? Glad to hear that you've finally tracked some down without having to get them posted from abroad! |

How can tobacco be used in beer? drj, I bought them in Rome when I was working over there last year. C4H5As, you're right, their website doesn't list it, it might have been a special, I have photos to prove it's real though... ;-) |

Finding good hop stockists I use the Malt Miller personally, great prices on malt and hops and super fast service. |

Is it possible to bottle condition without sediment? You'd need to do this with a counter pressure bottler though, something like -> blichmannengineering.com/beergun/beergun.html |

Should I dunk my dry hops? In my experience marbles aren't heavy enough to submerge a hop bag. Even small stainless weights aren't enough if you have a lot of hops. I know off some homebrewers who use sterilised smooth stones, as they're the only thing heavy enough for the job. |

What is the best book for beginning home brewers? Not trying to be funny, but I get down voted for suggesting a good book that I feel is right for a beginner, but this gets up voted when it's clearly not a beginners book... Can we please have a bit of consistency. |

What hop should I use to get Fuller's IPA hop taste and aroma? You'll find Fuller's IPA half way down this page - fullers.co.uk/rte.asp?id=175 They are also doing one at the moment called Bengal Lancer, which is really nice and has that classic Fuller's marmalade thing going on. |

What to do with a stuck fermentation after 2 days with my first beer kit? Tetragrammaton, see brewchez answer below. |

What to do with a stuck fermentation after 2 days with my first beer kit? It depends... I have books that say give it a good thrash as it may be a lack of oxygen that caused the fermentation to stick, so you need to put some more in. However, as other have said, check the gravity and see what's going on. |

Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Failure Acetaldehyde is due to over pitching!?! Most of my brews have that, will have to stop the dried yeast starter then... |

Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Failure Thanks for the answer. The supplier also told me that they think they need longer than the packet says, 24 - 48 hours from just the smack. |

Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Failure it was from January this year. I'm in the UK and have no idea how the supplier had it transported or stored... |

Help With Hops… Thanks to everyone for their answers, my main issue is that I can only brew about four times a year, so spending a few years experimenting will get frustrating, hey ho. @brewchez, I suppose the question was impossible to answer, it's just experience aqt the end of the day.. |

Help With Hops… I appreciate that's the case, but it still doesn't help with knowing how much of variety to add. Or if like me, what combinations will go well togeather. I've had a few of the Mikkeller Single Hop IPAs and De Mollen Amarillo, which is single hop, but I still have no idea how to combine the hops to get the desired result. |

Help With Hops… I understand the theory of getting the correct IBU, I just don't understand how to get the hop flavour profile (for want of a better term). I have Daniels book on my amazon wish list, I should just take the plunge and buy it. |
