I've been brewing for about six years, 2 years all-grain. I love this hobby. My only question is, why isn't everyone doing this? Maybe we need to push harder to get the word out.

What software do most brewers use? I use BeerSmith as well, I love it. I gave BeerTools a try after I had been using BeerSmith and didn't like it nearly as much. I still use BeerSmith for every batch. |

Hop utilization Good point on the last runnings. Also a good point on the extra burner. Hops are not that expensive, and I could always do a 90 minute boil instead of 60, I was more just curious if it would work. |

Are plastic fizzy-drink bottles an acceptable substitute for glass bottles? You can get the brown plastic bottles and lids and www.midwestsupplies.com. I got some for making soda with my daughter, she loves it and now she is longer jealous when I make my beer. |

What is the minimum amount of equipment to dabble in All-Grain? I did the Zapap for a few batches, it worked well. Drilling all of the holes wasn't too bad either, a chair and a few homebrews made it go by pretty quick. I quickly upgraded my mash tun for more volume though. |

How to brew all-grain indoors I was doing this for a while in the winter and it is do-able. It takes a while longer to get the boil going though. |
