Converting your fermentation bucket into a mash tun That's great! Thank you! |

Converting your fermentation bucket into a mash tun I wasn't referring to that system, but I'm not either planning to stick anything in the bucket apart from the grains (check my comment on the other answer). |

Converting your fermentation bucket into a mash tun I don't need the false bottom since I'll be using an alternative method for batch sparge where the wort is filtered by a grain bag. My main concern is how to keep the temperature steady. |

Using flakes in a mash It's quite irrelevant to the question but it's not worth asking a new one so I'll ask it here: do you think oat flakes would be good in a wheat beer recipe or the silky mouthfeel oats give is suitable mostly for a stout-like ale? |

Bag-in-box packaging I don't think so, but it would be a cool solution for a party, instead of using a keg or sth. |

Bag-in-box packaging I wanted the second version, I prefer to naturally carbonate my beer. But the problem is that even if the box is small enough, which is most likely true, this prevents the bag from popping, but not from tearing apart and leaking. |

Crushing malt without a mill Brewchez, have you tried this on an all grain brew or just partial mash? Would it give sufficient results for all-grain? |

Beginners cider homebrewing Maybe you could use lactose or some other non-fermentable sugar, so that you get it sweeter without having to chill it. |
