when making whiskey what is left of the barley? @maifet I keep coming back here because of my baka problem, but I just want to say again how on the money your 80% (give or take) answer is. Precisely and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. |

when making whiskey what is left of the barley? @baka there were already 2 good answers by the time you marked it duplicate. Clearly everything was understood before you got here. Did you actually read anything? Or just saw leftover grains and decided what the question was? The only edits were because of your obstinance intervention. Again you clearly didnt read the comments either since you did not address the question - what does that question have to do with mine. There is obviously a great community here, but I cant really be bothered using this site any more because of you. |

when making whiskey what is left of the barley? Im not looking to buy some. I am trying to estimate how much of the actual grain goes into whiskey versus just the flavours etc. The "proof in the pudding" would be the % of kernel left after taking the water out. |

when making whiskey what is left of the barley? thanks for the spent grain. wiki says it consists of fragments of endosperm. Fragments would indicate that most of the actual barley kernal has been dissoved into the mix? Would this be accurate? |

when making whiskey what is left of the barley? thanks for that. So you mill the barley 1st? Is must be a coarse milling to be left with kernals and husks? |

when making whiskey what is left of the barley? I read all that. Dont see how it helps. Im specifically looking for the barley waste, not generally how to make whiskey? |
