Following in my dad's footsteps, a lifelong home brewer & chemist to boot. My own fruit-based wines are a bit hit 'n' miss but I make a lot of beer & quality wine from kits & concentrates - we don't buy any booze from the shops (pay enough flippin' tax thanks !!)
I like stouts, porters, & brown ales. But I make the occasional lager for the summer & am experimenting with late-hopping this year for extra flavour. And I make 5 gallons of cider every autumn from my apples - no added ingredients!!
