Soapy off-flavour source? A pH test isn't too unreasonable either, especially if you are at all into the idea of meads and/or wines. |

Orange juice stain the brew bucket, or even worse? Thank you. Racked the orange mead to secondary yesterday. There's a little be of staining left over but other than that all is good. |

Why my homebrewed lager beer bottles explode? to elaborate more on this, have you used the same primer each time (if its included in the kit, ignore this). Different kinds of primer require different amounts (Corn vs. Cane vs. Malt extract etc...) |

Can OxiClean be used as a sanitizer? Seconded on using as a cleaner but not sanitizer. Especially the first time I use some bottles I run them through an OxyClean soak to remove labels and such. Rinse and sanitize after and you're all set! |
