comment Can I make urwagwa?
Oh dear. There is a chance I searched something other than "banana", like "Rwanda" or "Burundi". I'm giving myself the benefit of the doubt here.

After a quick search on homebrewtalk.com, I haven't been able to find a thread on the banana beer. Is there any chance you could direct me towards one?

Oats certainly available, millet possibly. It's promising to see some people have had success.

@brewchez haha, thanks for the lesson. I just needed a handy way of explaining and tagging it, perhaps someone can make a special urwagwa tag. But I do agree, we should embrace the variety.

So you think sorghum would be hard to get a hold of? I read somewhere that it was available in the US, but I live in the UK anyway.

@boab I was using hard to distinguish between cider made using a press and cider made using this method. We don't call it a "supermarket" in the UK either. Thanks for your help though, nice link

It would be possible to put a hole in it I guess. Would a blow off tube be a simple tube (the kind you would use for siphoning) or a more specified piece of equipment?
