Do glass bottles weaken over time? @mdma I warned you for the love of science to not spread that myth. Old windows are thick at one end because they were manufactured with the crown glass process en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_glass_(window). They put the thicker end at the bottom because it's simply more stable that way, but I would bet that you can find old windows installed upside down that are thick on the top |
