Boiling the wort kills any bacteria. What is more concerning is that you mention the water still has an odor. That might contribute to off-flavors and the like. I'd use a charcoal filter for your brewing water. And the sludge...yeah, filter. ;)

An activated charcoal filter won't remove fluoride. To remove fluoride you'd need an activated alumina filter, or reverse osmosis, or deionizer filter.

Thanks baka, I should have mentioned that. It was late.... ;-) Definitely a 100% natural juice with no additives or preservatives should be use.
