Can I use liquid nitrogen to cool my wort? It never occurred to me to capture the hot water coming out of the chiller. This is a great idea for getting hot water for cleanup. |

Online retailers for brown nipper bottles (187 mL)? Good point. There must be a way though. Stone and Delirium paint their bottles. |

How much light is too much light? Interesting. I guess I should be more concerned about it. Maybe I should do a test with bottles left outside and see how many days it takes until there's a taste difference. |

How does bottling in a half bottle effect taste @baka: I sometimes steal a taste, but if I'm bottle conditioning then the beer is warm and flat—not the tastiest. |

Should I worry about CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) skunking my beer? This link is broken. Can you fix it or delete the answer? |

How much light is too much light? I assumed it would take many days or weeks under fluorescent bulbs or daylight to cause skunking. Do you think there's any risk at all for just a few hours? Especially when stored in bulk like a fermenter, where there is less surface area? |

How to clean the CO2 line? Starsan isn't soap and won't do a good job removing debris. (Plus, running starsan and then iodine seems redundant.) Although I agree with you about just replacing cheap parts like lines. |

What are the possible consequences of putting dry yeast straight into the wort? This would be interesting to learn more about. Do you have a link or issue number? |

How quickly do i need to drink my beer? I'm not sure I would say "beer will get better with age". It's likely to change a little bit with age. You point out that the hops bitterness and aroma fades over time. E.g. any aroma from dry hopping will probably be noticeably diminished in 6 months. |

Should secondary fermentation be the same temperature that primary was? +1. The distinction between "secondary fermentation" and "conditioning" is often misunderstood. Old homebrew books and many starter kits don't help the situation. |
