Do homebrewing shops get brewery's permission before designing/marketing a clone beer kit? There is an interesting situation going on now between Northern Brewer and Bell's Brewery over a trademark issue between their three and two hearted recipes, respectively. Northern Brewer doesn't claim it to be a clone, but Bell's begs to differ. |

Why is my IPA not hoppy enough? While I know this is true, this isn't quite my problem. My beer is usually gone within a month or two, but doesn't really capture that hoppy aroma. |

Is 55% ABV “beer” actually beer? Mead is considered beer too even though its basically honey and yeast. I was just making an example. I think the beer in question has hops though. |
