My cider stopped fermenting after it accidentally got opened and darkened in color bah your fine, I have left mine open the entire time before (probably not the best idea) and they have turned out fine. |

Beer Lost Through Blow Off Tube It was a 5.5 gallon carboy (supposed to be used as a secondary) and had 5 gallons in it. Fermentation has pretty much stopped and it looks like about 1 - 1.5 gallons left the carboy. |

Bubble, Bubble, Toil = Trouble? Brewing's Carbon Footprint You are trying to reduce a factor that is so small it makes no difference. Their are much bigger pollution problems that you should be worrying about. Such as using glass. Its takes a lot of energy to make and is usually just discarded after. |
