comment If/When to move to secondary fermentation
Completely agree. I racked to secondary a couple of times when I first started brewing. Complete waste of time and energy, not to mention the risk to the beer. My rule of thumb - if you have to ask, you shouldn't be racking to secondary.

Have to agree with brewchez - great info on the sugars, but I would definitely not aerate fermented beer. For this reason, not sure how effective re-pitching would be, since the yeast will have no oxygen to use.
