Picking hops very late @CleberGoncalves Not too bad if I recall correctly. |

Which commercial bottles are good for repurposing? The oxyclean water won't get nasties, so long as there's enough oxyclean in the solution. I should have made a step 6 though: clean your beer bottles thoroughly after soaking. |

Picking hops very late I'll mostly heed your advice, I got a couple ounces of high alpha hops (warrior), that I will only add as bittering hops. I think I will still add a very small amount of the "late harvest" hops though (It's all about wording). They have a much more mild flavor than younger cones, but still a good amount of bitterness, which I think will compliment the flavor of a big stout. I'll update this thread with the results in a couple months if I remember. Thanks. |

Bubbles in my racking cane. @brewchez: Good to know about the autosiphon, maybe I'll just get a new racking cane. |

Sunflower oil on dried cherries I ended up going to a farmers market, a stand had the most sour cherries I've ever tasted, worked out perfect. |

What is the point of mashing out? I sometimes feel the same way about HSA, however. |

Off-flavors from bottle conditioning, but not kegging I've given up bottling for this very reason :). Plus it's a messy pain. |

Brewed an Oatmeal Stout and the gravity did not drop as much as predicted, should I re-pitch or add yeast nutrients/energizer? Very interesting with the pitching temp, do you have any more info for this? |

What's a good “running” beer? I'm thinking a good 4-loko clone would give me the energy I needed for a long run. |

Alternatives to a hydrometer? I think that particular hydrometer I was cleaning under really hot water, then put it into ready to pitch wort. I think the wax one was just sitting in the sun. |

How to get an oily mouth feel I was hoping for some sort of magical trick I wasn't already planning on using. I'm also going to try to keep the FG up above 1.030-1.040. |

How to get an oily mouth feel Oily like Ten Fidy or Older Viscosity. Like a big stout that looks like motor oil and it thick like syrup. |

What is a wort chiller? It's an off flavor that tastes similar to cooked vegetables. |
