been lurking here a couple months sucking up bits of wisdom as I come across them. New to brewing but enjoying it. I was wondering if anybody has ever seen a recipe to mimic Red Horse Beer, made by San Miguel in the Philippines. My wife is Filipina and I can't find the real thing anywhere. I thought I might surprise her with a couple cases made myself.

The format of this site doesn't really lend itself to open ended questions, such as recipe requests. If you know what style of beer it is, you can describe the flavors that you are looking for, and ask how you could achieve them in that style of beer, though. Looks like variant on American malt liquor, according to Beer Advocate's reviews. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/355/23940

Not a style that I've ever brewed, but Google will help you find recipes. From the reviews, it sounds like the hopping rate is low (~20 IBUs?), and corn is used for a significant portion of the fermentables. Given its light body, I'd expect a low finishing gravity. If you're brewing all grain, shoot for a long, low-temperature conversion.
