I live in Phoenix, Arizona; I have tried to plant a mango seed a few times, but I'm an amateur when it comes to any kind of plant life.. So, none of my tries produced any kind of growth (other than fruit-fly larvae..) I'm sure I'm to blame for part or all of the failure, lol. Though, I still would like to know, is it possible to grow a mango tree from a seed, in the Phoenix area?

And other first-hand tips, or good-links would be appreciated; thank you for taking the time to read through my question.

(Also, I had trouble finding any good tags to list my question under..)

Maybe you could just add "for an all-grain mango porter" to the end of the question. – Jeff Roe May 6 '11 at 4:02
